Feds Link $150M Cyberheist to 2022 LastPass Hacks
U.S. federal agents have confirmed that the $150 million Ripple crypto heist was linked to the 2022 LastPass breaches, where hackers cracked weak master passwords to access victims’ cryptocurrency wallets. Despite repeated denials from LastPass, the FBI and Secret Service have concluded that stolen password vaults from the LastPass breach enabled the thefts.
